Cleaning Climbing Holds--Benky's Grip Wash

Here's the most boring video ever from an action standpoint but climbing gyms everywhere should take note.

If you're gonna get wet a $150 power washer from home depot is the best solution IMO, no nasty chemicals and perfectly clean holds.

It's supposed to be biodegradable so hopefully no nasty chemicals

I washed a couple hundred holds in an acid wash, without gloves once. That stuff does a number on your hands, especially if you have ANY, even small wounds. stingy!

I took some holds off my home wall today. I soaked them for about 10 minutes in a solution of one part white vinegar, one part water, and a squirt of liquid soap. They came out very clean, and I was able to wipe away any remaining rubber with my thumb. This is bio-friendly, can be put down the drain, will not change the hold texture, and will not burn your skin!

i'd like to test this stuff, I run a hold review site and it could be very interesting!!

I tried Benky (300 holds) and found it didn't work anywhere near as good as expected and was extremely costly as well. Won't be going back!
